What is stored, where it sits, and who can see it. Last changed 8 November 2026.

No trackers, no advertising, no third parties. Razum carries no analytics, no advertising, no social buttons and no embedded services. Nothing on any page is fetched from another company — even the fonts are served from here, for exactly this reason. A gate checks every page for an outside address on every build, so this stays true rather than starting true.

What is stored

Your people
A name, a login name, and a password that is stored scrambled in a way nobody here can reverse — we cannot read your password, only check one you type. No addresses, no phone numbers, no photographs, no date of birth.
Your aircraft records
Registrations, hours, what is tracked, what was inspected, defects and their fixes — and who recorded each one, which is the point of a maintenance record.
Your shop
Its name, the invoice contact you give us, what has been paid through, and your logo if you upload one.

There is no location tracking, no device fingerprinting, and no access to a phone's camera, contacts or files.

Where it sits

In a Postgres database hosted by Render, with their automatic point-in-time backups, plus our own nightly backup — which is restored and questioned every night, because a backup nobody has restored is a rumour. Everything travels over an encrypted connection.

Who can see it

The people of your own shop, and nobody else's: each shop is fenced, and a link to another shop's aircraft answers "not here" rather than admitting it exists. Plus us — the people who run Razum — because somebody has to be able to fix it. We look when you ask us to, or when something is broken.

We do not sell your data, share it, or give it to anyone for advertising or training. We would hand it to an authority only if the law compelled us, and we would tell you unless forbidden.

Cookies

One, and it is the one that keeps you signed in. There is nothing to consent to because there is nothing optional: no advertising cookie, no analytics cookie, no third-party cookie. Your choice of light or dark theme is remembered by your own browser and never reaches us.

What you can ask for, wherever you are

A copy of everything.
Your shop's whole record, in a readable form, within 30 days. No charge.
A correction.
Records here are add-only, so a correction is a new entry that supersedes the old one and says why — the history stays, which is what an inspector needs.
Deletion.
Ask in writing and we delete your shop's data, except anything we are required to keep. We will tell you plainly what is kept and for how long.

These are granted to every customer in every country. We do not work out which law covers you before deciding what you are owed.

How long it is kept

While you are a customer, and for 90 days after an account ends — so that a shop that leaves in a hurry, or stops paying during a bad month, can still get its records back. After that it is deleted from the live database, and ages out of the backups.

If something goes wrong

If data is exposed or lost, we tell the affected shops what happened, what was involved and what we are doing — promptly, and without waiting to be asked.
